What do you say to an awesome 12-year-old whose mom has told her on multiple occasions that she doesn't want her?

Anthony,
When there doesn't seem to be anything to say, I'm learning that it's better to be silent than to make something up. I guess that's the point. There isn't anything you can say. Her need isn't so much for comforting words, but for someone to prove by their actions (words if you have to settle) that they do want her.
It's shattering to think that you're unwanted. Unloved. But prove to that person that they are loved, that Christ died because He loved them so much, and they'll have something to hang onto for the rest of their lives. For some people, the intellectual knowledge is enough to realize that they are indeed worth something to God. Others need to be shown day in and day out by one of God's Vessels that He cares.
Any other things I could suggest would depend upon the actual situation, so I will refrain from much speaking on a subject I know very little about. Suffice it to say that God will lead.
May He show you what to do and say for each and every hurting heart that comes your way.
the hard questions in life. Just show love and tell her how much God loves her and wants her. You never know how much of a difference you can make in someones life by just showing love.
